Description
Yes I agree with the scientists. The disaster in Texas was a result of climate change. Most parts of the U.S. are being impacted each year. Droughts in the northwest, wildfires in California and Colardo, prolonged winter and record cold in the Northeast, tropical storms and extra hurricane activity in the south and now cold storms in texas. It is only going to get worse from here.
Thankfully we now have a president in office who understands and care about climate change. We have a sane leader who is doing the right things.
Let’s put it this way... There is no down side to combating climate change. It’s good for people, good for the planet and great for the economy and job market.
Despite the fact that Trump does not believe the science behind climate change, working to reverse it is a brilliant business decision. He failed to see the economic payday of going green. You would think that a brat like trump with an Ivy League degree in economics would have seen the up side to the green industry.
Green industry = managerial jobs in the U.S. manufacturing jobs in the U.S. mining jobs in the U.S. science jobs in the U.S. engineering jobs in the U.S. Installation and maintenance jobs in the U.S. plus new opportunities for new businesses. Most of these new jobs cannot be sent overseas. Job security. These new jobs will equal 7-11 million new jobs in America in the next 5 -10 years. These jobs can replace fossil fuel related industries 6 times over. Phase out fossil fuels while phasing in green solutions. That is Joe’s plan.
