Why do Americans insist on going to extremes???

We tend to place every person in one of two categories. A conservative or a liberal. Yet very few America’s are at either extreme. Most Americans are in the middle. Very few land in either category. Most Americans do not agree with Donald Trump and his extremist views. Most Americans do not appreciate Bernie Sanders and his extremist views. The vast majority of Americas are somewhere in the middle. Most Americans tend to lean either to the right or to the left but the vast majority of us are not at either extreme. The world is not black or white. There are many shades and many colors in between black and white politics. The bottom line is,.. we (those of us not at either extreme) are allowing the extremists and the media to write our narrative. We are allowing ourselves to be pigeon holed to one category or the other. The vast majority of Americans did NOT attend BLM rallies. Even the vast majority of people that agree with the movement did not attend the rallies. Why??? Because most people who agree with BLM are NOT extremists. The vast majority of Americans have NEVER attended a Trump rally. Even the vast majority of people who voted for Trump never attended one of his rallies. Why??? Because most of people who voted for Trump are NOT extremists. The extremists in this nation are the loudest and the most whiny so they tend to attract the most attention. Just like a flamboyant gay guy at a party. He attracts attention through his dramatic behavior. I have lived more than a few decades on this earth and I do not remember the extremists of either party being newsworthy prior to Trump being elected. Love him or hate him, The Donald polarized this nation. This divided state is a very sad place fore America to be. After all, “united” is part of our nations moniker. So for now, I am going to sit back, crack a cold beverage and hope that this whole extremist nonsense blows over soon. It feel like it might. It time that moderate Americans become the voice once again. Lean right or lean left WE MODERATES ARE THE VAST MAJORITY of this nation. Cheers....
