Searching for Roommates and Housing

Greetings! I am a 33 year old female teacher moving to Palo Alto for my dream job! I am so excited to embark on my new journey out there but realized with the expense of housing I am definitely going to need either the offer of a small in law unit or to find some roommates! If you happen to have a small in law unit or single space you could rent out at low cost I would be interested! Otherwise if you are in the same boat as me and looking to find roommates to share cost of a bigger place please contact me! What I am hoping to find: Ideally other professional females (even more ideal would be other teachers) who are willing to split the cost of renting a three bedroom home together in Palo Alto, San Jose area or Sunnyvale. I have two small trained well behaved pups. I forewarn anyone else with a small pup that while my terrier has successfully lived in the past with 4 different dogs, she does not come on friendly at first. She can be aggressive to other dogs in the beginning and it takes a few weeks before they bond and she accepts them into the pack. However, I know it can work because I have done it before, so if you also have a small dog and are not opposed to the transition we could make it work! In terms of attitudes: I am looking for roomies who are clean, responsible non-smokers (or at least only do so outside because I have asthma). I would like a chill friendly adult environment which allows for visits from significant others etc. Most adds I have found searching for roommates forbade over night guests, this makes it difficult in a long distance relationship or simply to live a normal social life. I think flexibility within reason is important. Please email me if you think we might be a good fit either as roommates or if you have a small space you could rent me! I am looking to move anytime May-July over summer.
