Hiring a CUSTODIAN at an Award-Winning Company in Meridian, Idaho POSITION: Full time, Non-Exempt LOCATION: Meridian, Idaho SALARY: $15.00 per hour PRIMARY SCHEDULE: 4:30 pm – 1:00 am, Monday – Friday DEADLINE: Sunday, February 28, 2020 Northwest Lineman College is seeking a Custodian for our Meridian, ID campus. The Custodian ensures that our facilities look fabulous on a daily basis – for staff, students, visitors and guests, just as if the President of the United States was walking through the door at any moment. The Custodian also demonstrates compliance with safety standards as they relate to cleaning and maintenance activities, ensures the campus maintains an adequate supply of cleaning and building maintenance products on hand at all times and maintains a regular and organized cleaning schedule Why Northwest Lineman College? What you’ll be doing: Ensure campus always looks perfect - without exception Work closely with Facilities Director on special projects Create and maintains a regular cleaning schedule Ensure adequate supplies are always stocked Operate equipment safely, adhering to all NLC safety standards including the use of PPE and COVID-19 protocols Help set up and tear down for special events such as rodeo and graduation Clean classrooms, offices, bathrooms, break rooms, and common areas to include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, emptying trash cans, loading/unloading dishwashers, sanitizing area as necessary and completing seasonal deep cleans Assist with snow removal or debris from sidewalks and parking lots The success patterns for this position are: High school diploma or GED Minimum of 1-2 years of experience The successful candidate will have the following personal characteristics: Ninja-like focus that allows you to redirect your attention quickly during frequent interruptions, while staying calm and collected.
