Job Description - We are looking for a Water Meter Field Service Technician. The Service Technician will need to be able to complete water meter installs up to 4 inches, complete service and maintenance orders where needed, track inventory for the projects, and provide a customer service support for the cities. Comfortable with excel and various software platforms. Responsibilities - Provide service and customer support through field visits or dispatch - Onsite installation, maintenance, and test tasks - Diagnose errors and technical problems, and be able to provide a solution - Provide timely and detailed service reports as needed - Follow necessary field operation systems - Operate company vehicle - Follow company procedures and protocol - Cooperate with operations team, and share information across the organization - Build positive relationships with the customers Requirements - Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service equipment - Be willing to travel, and work remotely as needed - 25-30% travel - Familiarity with mobile skills and applications - Technical degree or certification is a plus - Valid Driver's License and clean driving record - Physically capable to lift, bend, and dig - Experience with meter installation up to 4 inches is preferred - Ability to work independently, follow direction, be organized, and lead were needed Job Types: Full-time, Contract
