Vinco, Inc. is a rapidly growing, broad-based Telecommunication Construction contractor, with specializations in communications construction. From large towers and raw land site construction to small installs, placing specialty equipment on a water tower, church steeple, building, or similar vertical structure. Vinco, Inc. is looking for Fleet Manager for our Las Vegas, NV location. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF JOB: This position is responsible for the service, maintenance, and upkeep of trucks and equipment. This includes company vehicles, trailers, and mechanical equipment. Inspects and diagnoses machinery to determine the nature and extent of faults or damage. Repairs and tests machinery to guarantee safe operation and effectiveness. Advises Division Manager of potential upcoming mechanical issues and suggests solutions. Keeps shop environment safe, clean, and stocked. Protects tools from theft or misuse. Advises Division Manager of the need to order parts and materials. JOB REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS: • Must Be eighteen (18) years old minimum. • High School degree, diploma, or a GED equivalent qualification from an accredited institution. • Performing scheduled checks on all construction equipment and trucks. • Requires a valid driver’s license and a good driving record. CDL Class A preferred but not required. • Ensuring regular servicing and maintenance of all trucks of the establishment. • Maintaining a service and maintenance record of all equipment. • Coordinating with the Division Manager for spare parts and other repair equipment. • Complying with all safety norms and industry regulations for all work processes. • 2 – 3 years of experience working as a fleet or maintenance manager. • Must be forklift certified (or able to get certification) • Ability to drive truck and trailer combinations. • Requires availability to work more than 40 hours in a workweek. • Requires occasional heavy physical exertion (e.g., lifting, bending, use of technical tools, etc.) • Be able to do welding if needed. • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
