Being a Landscaping Team Crew Member is an exciting and rewarding career. From patios and retaining walls to garden beds, pathways and fire pits – every day provides new opportunity to learn skills and shape the world around you. You know (or want to know) every variety of boxwood, hosta, hydrangea and how mulching benefits garden beds. You believe properties are so much more than a place for a house or business, but tells a story about the place and people who live there. You understand that proper landscaping is not light work, and take exceptional pride in a job well done. You know working outdoors is challenging, and physically demanding, yet, none of that would hold you back from always bringing your A-game to every job and situation. You enjoy working with a team but are also happy working independently or with little direction. Managing landscaping tools and machinery comes easily to you, as does learning new things. Previous experience would be great, but not necessary, as we always provide training for the right candidate. Responsibilities With proper care and diligence your duties will include: ● Lawn Care: mowing, trimming fence lines and curbs ● Mulching: mulching and weeding garden beds as required ● Trimming: Shrub and hedge trimming and ongoing care ● Operating Equipment – safely operating mowers, trimmers, edgers, blowers as well as operating a vehicle with a trailer Qualifications ● A valid driver’s license and a clean record ● Friendly, approachable and professional with customers and teammates ● Reliable, punctual, responsible, and able to follow safety instructions ● Physically fit and can lift 50+lbs ● Hard working and can do your job with limited supervision ● Always do your best work ● Able to operate a variety of landscaping equipment ● Coachable and willing to learn new skills, techniques and ways of working Compensation & Benefits ● Competitive Pay – $16/hour with $1/hour raise within the first 6 months ● Holiday & Snow Pay ● Production Bonuses ● Upsell Bonuses ● Simple Plan IRA ● Phone compensation plan ● Overtime opportunities ● Year-round work ● Continued learning opportunities ● FinFit membership
