We are in search of an experienced Maintenance/Handyman! This individual will be assisting with multiple facilities. Candidate must possess basic problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, must be honest, dependable, punctual, and trustworthy. Duties/preferable skills (include but are not limited to): Plumbing – ability to make simple repairs to interior and exterior parts of toilets, snake toilets, drains, faucets, basic diagnostic ability prior to calling professional repairman. Electrical – basic repairs to light fixtures, changing bulbs, basic diagnostic ability prior to calling for professional repairman. Appliance repairs – basic repairs, light bulb replacement, interior shelving, accessories, doors, ability to diagnose basic problems prior to calling professional repairman. A/C – basic knowledge of operation of systems, replacing filters, basic cleaning, basic diagnostic prior to calling for professional repairman. Ability for basic repairs a plus. Housekeeping – basic carpentry skills prefab, painting, installing misc. office accessories, installing/removing wall mounted signs, plaques, pictures, cabinets, shelves, etc. Computers – basic operation to input information regarding repairs or recommendations, sending/answering emails. Transportation - Must have reliable transportation to get from job site to job site. Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 1 year. Physical requirements: No fear of climbing ladders Lifting moving heavy furniture, boxes, tools, with use of moving equipment Proper lifting techniques for max 80 lbs alone (bag of concrete) Work in outside elements, including inclement weather Ability to learn and operate Scissor lift, Fork lift, and Boom Hours: Monday thru Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Possible Emergency Response to a facility All facilities located with 4 miles of one another Compensation: Starting at $16-20 per hour depending on experience. *If currently licensed for Electrical, Plumbing, or A/C, salary negotiation would be applicable.
