We all pitch in to do what needs to be done. Job Summary: B+T Group is currently seeking a Small Cell Technician in the Dallas, TX office. This person is responsible for completing on-site field work activities associated with each small cell construction project. Essential Functions (Key Responsibilities): 1. Preparation – Prepare equipment and materials for each project so the job can be completed properly, safely and efficiently. 2. Field Work – Perform field work in accordance with client work orders, that includes but not limited to installation of radios, antennas coax, and fiber. 3. Documentation – Record information associated with each work activity and report information after completing field work on the site. 4. Perform related responsibilities as required or assigned. Requirements Knowledge/Skill/Ability • Physical Ability – Ability to climb to and/or work from heights in a bucket truck above 30-50 feet while bearing the weight of more than 30 lbs. of equipment and being exposed to all types of weather • Communication Skills – Proven oral and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare and deliver concise, understandable reports and instructions • Computer Skills – Proficiency in the use of personal computers, including spreadsheet and word processing programs • Valid Driver’s License – Clean motor vehicle record and ability to drive a company vehicle with or without trailering Equivalent Education/Experience • Graduation from High School or equivalent • Experience in Telecommunications, or Utility, or Tower Construction field, or related fields preferred but not required • OSHA-10 Certification preferred but not required • CPR/First Aid preferred but not required Special Job Dimensions: Work is physically demanding, requires conformance to tight deadlines, occasional overtime, travel, and exposure to weather elements.
