Description
Hello, I am an amateur acoustic guitar player/singer in search of another acoustic player or singer to create a duo or possibly a trio. I’d also be interested in joining an already established group looking to add an acoustic guitar player.
I’ve played the guitar for a long time and I’m a pretty quick learner. I play mostly acoustic stuff or take pop tunes and do an acoustic version. I’m 50 and I have diverse and eclectic music list. I always want to learn new stuff but I’ve never really connected with country music for some reason. Blues, classic rock, hard rock acoustic love songs, jazz, some other various artist, too many to mention here.
I recently moved to Loveland and have a studio/crib in the downtown area; very close to all the bars and hot spots. It’s the perfect place to meet, warm up then hit the town.
Here’s my story: I’ve tried doing this a few times and it always seems to go sideways at some point so I want to be completely clear this time...I’m not a professional, I’m good and I want to get better by getting out there. I go to shows all the time and sit and shake my head wondering what the f am I missing in myself that I’m not out performing too. I don’t feel I’m a solo performer and I believe that finding someone else with similar goals and skills is a good, next logical step for me.
If your a singer only, that’s fine with me, that’s where I feel I’m weakest.
So if you’re looking to play out or you need a good acoustic player for your group, hit me up.
