Construction Help Wanted: Gordon Energy & Drainage is currently hiring for people to work in our PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT. The current positions available are in our basement waterproofing, drain tile, & sump pump installation departments. These positions are full time/year round and not seasonal. The work involved is spraying waterproofing on the exterior of foundation walls, installing drain tile, and installing sump pumps on new homes being built by home builders all across the KC metro. You can see videos of our crews in action on our web site. www.gordonenergy.com Hours are Monday – Friday, from 7 AM until the jobs are done. Laborers can expect to start at $ 14 - $ 16 per hour, with opportunity for raises and potential to move into crew chief position once trained. Last year, our laborers earned on average $ 53,000 after bonus and overtime pay. Crew Chiefs can expect to start at $ 17 - $ 19 per hour, with opportunity for raises based on performance. Last year, our crew chiefs earned on average $ 63,000 after bonus & overtime pay. We supply trucks and tools to complete our work. You supply a valid driver’s license and good driving record, a great attitude, willingness to work until all the jobs are done, good attendance, and must pass a drug screening. This is hard, dirty, outside work which is done in most types of weather. We offer health insurance, paid vacation, paid holiday, time & half pay over 40 hours per week, 401-K, with an opportunity to earn monthly and a year-end bonus.
