Asheville Oil Company is looking for a local driver to: • Perform daily deliveries primarily to commercial customers, as dispatched • Determine products and quantities to load • Complete pre-trip truck inspection • Load trucks, offload at customer site • Complete delivery paperwork • Track and reconcile product on truck • Complete post-trip truck inspection • Perform other duties or tasks as assigned Requirements: • Valid NC Driver License Optimal Class B (or greater) CDL license with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements (endorsement X) • Able to pass DOT drug screen • Clean driving record • Exceptional customer service skills • Non-smoker • Able to safely lift/move 50+ lbs. • We are looking for someone that takes pride in their work and accomplishments that can work with us to better take care of our customers. We need someone that is flexible and understanding that each day could bring different challenges and that the plans that were made the previous day may need to be adjusted to meet the needs of the customer, but making sure that the previous day’s work is completed correctly. • Duties include delivering package and bulk products to our customers, receiving products in the warehouse and staging products for delivery. • Job Type: Full-time with benefits after 90 days • Salary: $14.00 to $18.00 /hour...
