Maintenance Lead Position

Overview: Part-time position responsible for basic maintenance of large storage facility in Magnolia/2978 area, including unit interiors, site exterior, landscape and identified special projects as needed. Compensation/Schedule: Compensation is $18 per hour, 20 hours per week. Schedule negotiable. Position Requirements: -Follows procedures & checklists (all supplies, tools/equipment provided) -Willingness to learn new things -Good tool care and organization -Ability to be outside for long periods of time (air conditioned office is available for breaks, but majority of responsibilities are outdoors) -Welding experience preferred, but not required. Willingness to learn a plus. List of primary duties are included as follows: -Maintain general site cleanliness -Weekly/monthly mowing, trimming and watering of site using equipment provided -Herbicide and pesticide application around site and in units as needed (with respirator, face shield, gloves provided) -Use and maintain power tools (use golf cart & mini trailer, ladders, compressor, air ratchet, drill, cutoff grinder, shovels, backpack blower) -Inventory consumables (paint brushes, water, gas, oil, trimmer line) & notify manager of restocking needs -Daily check of electric breakers and lock boxes -Prepare units for rental (shoveling/smoothing rocks & millings, regular pesticide spray, sweeping, lock hole alignment/adjustment with air ratchet, priming/painting, greasing hinges) -Rebuild/replace door tethers and trim as needed -Clearing drains of rocks -Painting (posts, lock brackets, bollards, fencing) -Lock checks, Pinhole checks, Temp lock pickup/delivery, Cutting locks -Identification of and assisting with special projects or future repairs/capital items (including major repairs, welding, damages, leaks, etc.) -Various interior office tasks (cleanliness, air filters, gate access equipment reset) To Apply: Qualified applicants should send their resume and/or an email outlining why they feel like this job would be a good fit for them, along with any relevant work experience.
