I am looking for a handy person to install blinds in my clients homes. I sell all types of window treatments. I need someone who is handy with a drill, and can balance on a ladder. Must have basic tools, electric drill, screwdriver, 2ft and 6ft ladder, and a vehicle that can transport the blinds to the clients home or business. Clean collar polo shirt, and clean shoes or sneakers to work and look professional in front of the client. This is part time work. Depending on how busy it is, you could expect 3 to 10 hours per week on average. The job would entail me getting you the clients information, and you contacting them to set up the install at a mutually beneficial time for both of you, so you will have some control over your schedule. You would then come and pick up the blinds at my office, and go and install them. There will be support and training, especially at first. On the bigger jobs, you welcome to bring a helper, and we can negotiate the details at that time. $25 per hour, plus $15 trip charge per job. Minimum $40 per job, no matter how small. Great part time work. You will be expected to be reasonably efficient. I am a master installer, and know what kind of time it takes to install all the different types of shades. I will help you approach the installs in an efficient, and clean manner, that will make my clients happy.
