This is a great opportunity for the right person! ( but please read the entire post before calling ). Special event company needs independent contractors to help with delivery, set up and operation of amusement equipment at church, corporate and private events. The Basics : You will be offered work on an as needed basis,which currently could be anywhere from 4 to 8 days a month. Primarily weekends, but in our business every week is different. You are in no way obligated to work every weekend or accept every gig offered you. Some will be close by. Others further away. It's your choice as to which ones you want to do. Must own a reliable insured van, pick up truck or other vehicle with the ability to tow a small trailer. Heavy lifting is required. Must be able to pass a criminal background check, strictly adhere to company safety policy, and be 100% dependable. At the present, our clients expect us to adhere to CDC guidelines. If you are opposed to wearing a face mask while working it's pretty much a deal breaker. You will make above average money working as an independent contractor and are in no way obligated to take every job offered. Every gig is different but the average is 300.00. Retirees are welcome and encouraged to apply ( we have a 65 year old having fun and doing great at this ).
