Express is partnering with a reputable Corvallis area sanitation/waste management company to find qualified Landfill Assistants to start working ASAP! Primary duties: filling sand bags (20-30 lbs), picking up trash/litter around the premises, pulling/setting tarp over the landfill. You will be on your feet for the duration of the shift, walking, standing, bending, lifting consistently for 8 hours. This is a temporary position with occasional opportunity for long term. Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm with some overtime as needed. Pay: $15.00/HR Ability to: Communicate effectively with staff, the public, contractors, and all customers Ability to work both independently and with a team in different environments. Think clearly, meet work deadlines, and deal with frequent interruptions. Make decisions based on established policy. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
