Peace Vans Rentals is actively seeking a key member for our 2021 Seasonal Team to support the fun & fast-moving camper van rental business. With 5 seasons of renting experience, we have fine-tuned processes and a very supportive full-time team. Historically, our seasonal team members have come on full time after the season ends. As the key seasonal employee for 2021 your primary responsibilities include: - Prepping vans for pick-ups & cleaning vans after drop-offs. This includes exterior detailing, interior cleaning, unloading and reloading equipment. - Primarily responsible for making sure the vans are impeccable, ready for pick up, and all requested equipment is included inside the van. - Unpacking the vans when returned and making sure: • Dishes/laundry are routed to the team that cleans those items • Other items are cleaned as necessary (camp chairs, camp tables, etc.) - Refueling vans as necessary, as well as propane refills from a local retailer. - Flagging vehicle issues after every rental for our mechanical team to address. - Cross-trained to support office team on pickup/drop offs: • Provide detailed orientation and amazing customer service to customers picking up • Answer all questions and intuit questions they might not have asked • Create a warm, fun, exciting start to their trip - Provide phone/text support for travelers on the road as necessary (with lots of support from the core Peace Vans Team) Qualifications: - Knowledge of detailing vehicles and the ability to know when something is really clean vs. just surface level clean. - Passion for making people happy! - High attention to detail - Ability to lift 35lbs. - Professional Demeanor & Customer Service Experience - Ability to work full time - Ability to work 2 weekends/month through the summer - Clean driving record - Friendly and easy to work side-by-side with on a small team Pay is hourly depending on experience + an end of season bonus.
