Head Seamstress & Creative Assistant Hello! A new sustainable and eco-conscious handbag and accessories brand is seeking a Head Seamstress & Creative Assistant to be apart of this new endeavor. My brand is all about being a part of re-purposing the "waste" that is caused by the fashion industry. The Head Seamstress and Creative Assistant will be an integral part of sourcing, creation, marketing, and branding to some extent. I am looking for someone professional, with a "can-do" attitude and a creative mind.  Responsibilities and Duties: * You will co-design handbags and accessories using design software (such as but not limited to Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop) or create drawings from scratch manually.  * Help source fabric and materials * Assist on photoshoots * Assist in marketing efforts such as Facebook and Instagram ads, create Tik-Toks, post for Pinterest, and other outreach. * Help get ahead of trends and determine hot styles for the next fashion seasons Requirements and Qualifications: * Very experienced with a sewing machine (either recreationally/hobby or professionally), sewing techniques, and a fashion background. * Access to a sewing machine preferred * 3 to 10 years experience sewing preferred Personality and Benefits: * Someone who loves to play with color, light and has beautiful creative energy. * Looking for someone with an optimistic and collaborative energy * Instead of saying, "I can't do this," you say, "How can I make this work?" * Benefit: Grow with an eco-conscious and sustainable brand. * We regularly volunteer at beach cleanups in the spring and throughout the warm months. Pay & What We Can Currently Offer: * Commission pay of 20% of all items sold. (as we grow, your pay will be hourly) * Supplies provided * Entry into a creative, fun, and vibrant fashion community. * Develop skills in photoshoot, video shoot production.
