Darbster Foundation is a dog and puppy rescue saving close to 400 lives a year. Must have a passion for rescue animals, good communication skills, ability to work in a positive manner with the team and ability to stay on task.
Looking for full or part time help. You may send a resume or come in and fill out an application.
Duties include:
- Cleans and organize shelter/ facility including cleaning and disinfecting kennels, play areas and floors, organizing facility equipment, and doing laundry.
- Prepare food and feed dogs according to schedules and feeding instructions.
- Performs basic animal grooming duties, such as washing, brushing, and trimming nails.
- Administering medications as indicated by on staff veterinarian.
- Walking dogs on leash around the Darbster Doggy facility and on the land surrounding.
- Work in small and large play groups for rescue dogs.
