Description

Learn ways to green your organization and celebrate your success. Open to all Brookline businesses, non-profits, and faith organizations. __________________________________ ATTENTION This event has been postponed. A new date will be announced once plans are underway. Thank you for your patience. _________________________________ You are invited to participate in Brookline's "Climate is Everybody's Business" program for business owners, non-profits and faith organizations. Learn how to green your organization's everyday practices with a focus on energy, waste, climate and air quality. After you register for this free event, you'll be invited to complete an on-line self-assessment to learn practical ways to reduce your organizations' climate impact and support Brookline's ambitious sustainability plans. Participants who complete the self-assessment will be eligible to receive public recognition for their efforts to adopt sustainable and climate friendly business practices. The meeting will be an opportunity to talk with local business owners, nonprofit and faith organization leaders to hear about specific steps they’ve taken to reduce their climate impact and the local resources to replicate their success. The meeting and self-assessment are part of a larger program designed to engage and celebrate businesses, nonprofits and faith organizations for their important role in Brookline's transition to carbon neutrality by 2050. More information is available under the "Go Green" tab on the Brookline Chamber of Commerce website gogreen.brooklinechamber.com Spread the word!
