Meet the Beekeeper Have you ever wondered how pollinators benefit our environment? How about the origins of honeybees or the structure of a hive? The questions are endless, so stop by and talk with an experienced beekeeper. Seven Bends State Park has a cooperative agreement with the Shenandoah County Beekeepers to maintain an apiary in order to promote pollinators and pollinator habitat. Let us show you the ins and outs of an apiary and the vital role bees and other pollinators play in our ecosystem. Due to covid restrictions, this program is limited to 9 attendees. Meet on the Lupton side by the barn. Rain date is March 27th, if needed.
