I've been remodeling a house on south Norman Street and stepped outside for a couple drags off a cigarette. I was looking at clouds, or crows, or something upwards and noticed you passing by in my peripheral vision. I looked down in time to see you acknowledge me and send a wave my way...I might have let out a soft 'hi' but my mind was elsewhere and it was just a surprised reaction. Anyways, thank you. Your wave of greetings actually ended up making my day. Now I want to say 'hello' more often to the people I randomly come across.
