Women in Business Luncheon featuring Kim Fischer
Kim Fischer, Waterford.org National Spokesperson
Kim Fischer is the National Spokesperson and Vice President of Communication for Waterford.org. As a public school success story, Kim has been a lifelong supporter of education, so when she was given the opportunity to join the Waterford.org team back in 2018, she jumped right in! Kim has helped Waterford.org increase brand recognition nationwide at local, state, and national levels including securing placements in The New York Times and PBS.
Kim is also an award-winning journalist, who prior to working on the Waterford.org team spent 16 years in broadcast journalism. Kim worked in large cities across the country. From Dallas to San Antonio and Salt Lake City, she told stories that gave a voice to the most vulnerable members of her community, including abused children and victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. In 2016 Kim won a National Gracie award for her story on Rape and the Criminal Justice System, and in 2018 she was named the Anne Freimuth Child Advocate of the Year by Prevent Child Abuse Utah.
