This course will also touch on considerations and trends in regard to COVID-19. Instructor: Ginnie Weckerly is the Human Resource Director for Goodwill Industries of Northern Illinois. She was previously employed as an HR Manager and consultant for Rockford University through Staff Management, Inc and a District Manager for Manpower. She has over twenty years of HR experience touching on all facets of the HR discipline. She is a frequent speaker on topics related to resumes, interviews, and job searches for local not-for-profit groups. She has previously taught management courses in Rockford University’s BSMS Program. Ginnie has her Bachelor’s in Science from Illinois State University and Masters of Science in Management through Cardinal Stritch University. She has received her Senior Professional in Human Resource Management certification. Ginnie’s previous community experience includes volunteer work for Transform Rockford; promoting financial literacy through Money Smart Week; volunteering for the United Way; and has sat on the board of directors for the Rockford Area Society for Human Resource Management and Rockford Dance Company. **This is one of five courses in the Certificate in Nonprofit Management Program. Take any of the five courses a la carte or complete the entire series. Courses may be taken in any order. Upon successful completion of all five courses (90% overall attendance) participants will receive a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from The Northern Illinois Center for Nonprofit Excellence at Northern Illinois University.
