VIP Viewing & Reception for An American Street Mural in Harlem - A live documentary short film & immersive photo series Against the backdrop of blatant health disparities and systemic injustice during the COVID-19 epidemic, this contemporary Black Lives Matter street mural installation and public exhibition amplified the role of arts and activism as a unifier that brought a historically black community together, despite many odds. Together as a community, we created one of the most celebrated murals around the world. Now, the dialogue continues with the debut of An American Street Mural In Harlem, a live documentary short film & immersive photo series about how the hope, resilience and pride of the Harlem community launched America’s preeminent BLM mural in the midst of a global pandemic. In honor of Black History Month, we invite you to join us for a VIP Private Viewing & Reception for An American Street Mural in Harlem in tribute to your incredible contribution to this historic event. The VIP event will be held Saturday, February 27th at Kente Royal Gallery and will include: Arrival & Reception -11:30 am to 12 pmFilm screening - 12 pm to 12:35 Departure - 12:35 pm to 1 pm To ensure the safety and comfort of all attendees, event capacity will be limited and registration will be required for entry.
