Description
VIP Viewing & Reception for An American Street Mural in Harlem - A live documentary short film & immersive photo series Against the backdrop of blatant health disparities and systemic injustice during the COVID-19 epidemic, this contemporary Black Lives Matter street mural installation and public exhibition amplified the role of arts and activism as a unifier that brought a historically black community together, despite many odds. Together as a community, we created one of the most celebrated murals around the world. Now, the dialogue continues with the debut of An American Street Mural In Harlem, a live documentary short film & immersive photo series about how the hope, resilience and pride of the Harlem community launched America’s preeminent BLM mural in the midst of a global pandemic. In honor of Black History Month, we invite you to join us for a VIP Private Viewing & Reception for An American Street Mural in Harlem in tribute to your incredible contribution to this historic event.
