IDAX is a traffic data collection company that works with public agencies and private clients to drive intelligent transportation decisions. Our team of experienced professionals assist clients by providing functional, timely, and cost-effective data collection solutions tailored to the unique challenges of individual projects. We are currently looking for field data collectors to assist with an upcoming study planned in Santa Clara County. The work includes driving in the HOV lane on freeways throughout the county with a GPS Logger during the AM and PM peak periods. Since we are required to legally operate in the HOV lane, applicants must have a fuel-efficient vehicle with a valid CAV sticker. The shift is from 6:15 - 9:45 AM and from 3:15 PM – 6:45 PM on Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday. The assigned route must be completed twice in the morning and twice at night, on two separate days. We have a total of 7 routes to complete as a team, and you can anticipate being assigned 2-3 routes for this project. You will be compensated $20/hour and mileage at.56 cents per mile. You MUST provide a picture of your odometer before and after each peak period to receive reimbursement. This is a temporary job, but there may be other opportunities with other areas of IDAX's services for the right candidate.
