Welcome to ULaunch @ UMass Spring 2021. Brought to you by the UMass Entrepreneurship Club. The hardest part of any dream is starting. Welcome to ULaunch @ UMass Spring 2021 where we will help you actualize your ambitions and own your life!Over the course of two days, you will join 15-30 aspiring entrepreneurs, engineers, graphic designers, marketers, and everywhere in between, all with the goal of creating a team and launching your own startup right here at UMass. We'll provide the space, innovative teammates, food, and resources you need to take the first major steps in starting your entrepreneurial venture. You do not need to have an idea or team prior, you can make one here or join a team. What you get at ULaunch: A stronger belief in yourselfMentors and resources to start or join a startup over the weekendComplimentary lunch and dinner (and snacks!)Cash awards and moreA startup you could run for life!Our goal is to give students with a creative passion the means to express their entrepreneurial talents, create something of their own, and pursue their passions with the help of our sponsors and mentors.Winning teams will be awarded a cash prize to advance your startup! 1st ($600)    2nd ($300)     3rd ($100) 1st place will also recieve a 3-month Amherst Works membership! Important Notes: - Everyone is encouraged to bring an idea with them, however only 5-8 ideas will be used post-voting. Contestants will pitch ideas and then vote on their top ideas. Next, teams will be formed using these top ideas and the competition will begin. - This event is not meant to create a product, rather to create a visual representation of the product.
