Valeo is a social enterprise, using the business model of a for-profit, day-labor staffing agency: We identify businesses in the community who need employees, we send our workers, and we charge a staffing fee. As a non-profit, Valeo returns the revenue generated from staffing contracts to our workers, in the form of case management and supportive services to help remove barriers to employment, such as securing housing.
