We are looking for a detail oriented, high energy, and fast paced production specialist to join our team. THE TEAM: On the Production Team, our primary focus is order fulfillment for our online retail and dealer sales. KEY JOB DUTIES: - Timely and accurate shipping of products to customers all over the world - Packing and shipping boxes. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. - Assembling bicycles, bike wheels, batteries, solar water kits, and other miscellaneous products - Taking on and completing assigned production-related projects and tasks - Constantly thinking of and discussing ways to improve production processes POTENTIAL JOB DUTIES: - Shipping and packaging orders for shipment (this is 80%+ of the daily work flow). - Work with different materials to build Hilltopper batteries and bike wheels - Assemble different Dakota lithium-ion batteries - Shipping Hazardous Materials and all other items - Keeping inventory count DESIRED SKILLS: - Ability and desire to work with hands for most of the day - Ability to self-manage work and complete assigned projects on time - Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people - Ability to learn how to use shipping software and other online tools (training provided) - Desire to work in an environment where you will help impact change and growth - Innovative and creative problem-solving skills - Ability to lift and move 50 lbs. - Strong attention to detail - Spatial reasoning skills - Strong customer service skills - Bonus for experience with shipping software and/or working on a team that ships a high volume of packages. - SUPER BONUS: Hazmat shipping certification or experience with Hazmat shipping COMPENSATION, HOURS, & BENEFITS: - Starting pay of $15.00 per hour plus $2/hr essential staff bonus (total $17 / hr). - 35 - 40 hours per week. Scheduling is flexible, but the typical schedule is 9am-4pm Monday-Friday. - Company paid medical (Premera Blue Cross) and dental (Delta Dental) insurance provided upon hire. - 401K retirement plan. 100% vested upon hire (that means you own whatever goes into it). - 120 paid time off hours per year, equal to just over three (3) weeks off.
