I am the guitarist/songwriter/producer of this project.This has been TEN year project and a lot of material has been written, but have in mind that a lot of this material is not the final one. This project was previously called, Valley Dor. Think about these tracks that you hear on Souncloud like free writing. The idea is to form a full band based on this material and music similar to this different styles but as a band I believe we can all work it out and make very interesting songs. I am looking for a drummer, bassist and singer for my Prog Metal/Punk/Alternative project. A lot of this Drums have been programmed with a drum software so I dont expect you to be that best of a drummer that ply exactly the drum parts as it is, but you gotta be at the level of musicianship and have the skills to play parts close to that level. As far as Bass, I am not a bassist but I still wrote the bass parts to the best of my ability. I think that very good bassists can come up with way better parts but that are based on what I wrote somehow. As far as the singer, I think that a versatile vocal range that includes growls, clean, screams can be ideal for this project. Also, the singer writes his or her own lyrics. I tend to think my music sounds like and/or has passages that sound like, Opeth(more like the Old Opeth), Deftones, Tool, Metallica, Evergrey, Pain of Salvation, Storm Corrosion, Killswitch Engage, Sum 41, New Found Glory, Cloudkicker, The Offspring, Paramore, Meshuggah, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Black Veil Brides, NIN, Morbid Angel, Dimmu Borgir, Amon Amarth, Andrew WK, Ramones, Blink 182, Porcupine Tree, Puya, Joao Gilberto, Creed, Alice in Chains, Dream Theater, etc. As you can read and will hear there are many styles blend in and I understand its a lot of styles, but I really want to focus on incorporating a current sound that includes, Pop Punk, Punk, Metalcore, Prog Metal/ Death Metal, I am looking for committed musicians and with a serious attitude. I am going to ask to hear some audio or videos of your own to see if we matched musically before auditioning you. I dont want to waste time, drive up and meet up and jam to find out you are not on par at this level of musicianship. There can’t be no excuses or lot of negativity here. No way things work out that way. You must be willing to sacrifice it all to become successful and that is the mental attitude I would like to have with this project. Actions speak louder than words. Female or Male. You must have transportation, a job, and your own gear. Auditions will take place in a rehearsal studio and we all have to pay for the time we spend there, unless you got space and can provide it. The idea is to to take this project and convert it into a full band to tour around. Sky is the limit! We can restructure the songs as a band and mix and match ideas in which you can contribute. Initially the idea is to learn some original songs to test our chemistry out as part of the auditioning process.
