Senior/Advanced Scrum Master 5 (SASM) - Course Summary This two-day course for certification as a SAFe® Senior / Advanced Scrum Master Senior/Advanced Scrum Master 5 (SASM) This two-day course for certification prepares exceptional Scrum Masters and Agile Leaders for their role in facilitating Agile Team, Program, and Enterprise success in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®) implementation. This course will be offered in both IN PERSON and REMOTE formats - hosted in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and broadcast to Remote Students via Zoom. Zoom and physical address information will be provided to all Students, and all Students are encouraged to attend in the manner most comfortable to them. In Person learning will exercise all necessary COVID19 precautions (social distancing, masks as required, etc.). Remote Students will receive a digital workbook. In-Person Students will receive both, a physical and digital workbook.The course covers facilitation of cross-Team interactions in support of program execution and relentless improvement. It enhances the Scrum paradigm with an introduction to scalable engineering and DevOps practices, the application of Kanban to facilitate the flow of value, and supporting interactions with architects, product management, and other critical stakeholders in the larger program and enterprise contexts. The course also offers actionable tools for building high-performing teams and explores practical ways of addressing Agile and Scrum anti-patterns in the enterprise.
