TAMPA, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is searching for a 16-year-old teen wanted in connection with a Feb. 17 homicide in Tampa.
According to deputies, a warrant has been issued for Kanye Vasnon Mordica for felony second-degree murder with a firearm after another teenager was found dead in front of a duplex in the University of South Florida area last week.

Around 8:30 p.m., deputies found a male teen dead outside a duplex at the intersection of East 124th Avenue and North 9th Street. His identity has not been released.
Deputies say Mordica is known to frequent the USF and Sulphur Springs areas.
"While this suspect is only a juvenile, we believe he is armed, dangerous and on the run, and would advise anyone who comes in contact with him to call the sheriff's office immediately," said Sheriff Chad Chronister.
