Description
Come join us for a Breathwork journey back to oneself... Hello, my name is Courtney Russell and I am so happy you are here! My passion lies in the understanding that we, as human beings, have the ability to completely shift our current reality by tuning into ourselves on such a deeper level. When we quiet down our minds we allow our soul to speak. Our body holds so much wisdom and the breath allows us to connect to that power within. As a certified breathwork facilitator, I help you use your breath to reconnect to your body in order to safely acknowledge and release years of built-up emotinonal blocks. The term "Breathwork" includes a wide variety of techniques and styles. The breath I facilitate at my events is most commonly referred to as conscious connected breathing. This style of Breathwork is a powerful form of active meditation done lying down, breathing to carefully crafted music. Some call it a "meditation hack" because of its effectiveness at bringing one to a state of pure awareness. This style of Breathwork creates a deep flow state - opening you to a higher state of consciousness and a deeper, clearer, connection to Self. If you are feeling called to this event, please come with an open mind and an open heart. You will be using noise canceling headphones during this session, if for any reason, you are not able to wear headphones for 60+ minutes, please do not sign up for this event. Please bring a yoga mat, a blanket, an eye mask, a journal, and a bottle of water for your journey. We cannot wait to guide you! Please note: Safety is my number one concern in a session. With that being said, Breathwork has the potential to bring up a lot within your system both emotionally and physically. If you have any of the following, I strongly recommend you consult your physician before starting Breathwork. Pregnancy/ recently post-natalCardiovascular problemsHigh or abnormal blood pressureEpilepsy or history of seizuresHeavy medicationBipolar depressionSevere psychiatric symptoms, paranoia or psychosisRecent surgeryAny person with mental illness who isn't in treatment or lacks adequate support Anyone experiencing an emotional or spiritual crisis
