Looking for a bass player

Home By Eleven is in need of a bass player. We are an established band that has been playing small time gigs for 15 years. We lost our bass player before the pandemic and have been basically idle ever since. We would like to bring in someone new, and when things open up again be ready to play out. We are not what you would call a "working band" but we do sometimes pick up multiple gigs for given months. We are looking for a decent bass player who wants to play with a group and is willing to learn the songs and practice. Songs are mostly standard classic rock fare with some newer songs thrown in (for example: ranging from Mustang Sally to Talk Dirty to Me to Are You Gonna Be My Girl). We have a steady practice space in Virden. Age range of members is 40+, but depending on attitude, age is just a number. Vocals are a plus but not a requirement. Having your own bass and amp is a must. Gigging experience is a plus, but not required if skills and attitude are a fit. Bottom line: We are looking for an average to good bass player who likes to hang out and jam and occasionally get paid for it.
