Scripps Health said Monday there are available appointments for drive-through COVID-19 vaccinations on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.
The appointments are for the Pfizer vaccine, which is currently in greater supply than the Moderna version.
Scripps said only about 40% of 1,000 available slots were currently scheduled for Monday, 20% of 1,500 available slots for Tuesday, and 50% for Wednesday.
San Diego residents eligible to be vaccinated were encouraged to make appointments at MyTurn.ca.gov.
Scripps said additional timeslots for later in the week would be posted in coming days.
