"RootsTech Connect" – for those interested in Family History – your own and your ancestors For the first time ever, the world's largest family celebration event will be entirely VIRTUAL and completely FREE. (www.RootsTech.org) RootsTech helps to connect families, discover family histories and connect the living to their ancestors. This 3 day conference will be held on February 25-27, 2021. From the newest newbie to the most advanced family historian, there's a place at RootsTech for everyone who's interested in discovering their roots. Covid-19 has created an opportunity for anyone to attend, without the expense of travel, cost of registration or even taking time off from work. Sessions will also be video archived so you can watch the broadcast recordings later, anytime. On the www.RootsTech.org home page… you can scroll down and "Enter your Last Name to find it's Meaning and Origin", that's kinda interesting. RootsTech Connect will go live at 5:00 am Greenwich Mean Time on February 25th and stay on 24 hours a day for the next three days. You can join at whatever times are convenient for you. Although there will be hundreds of sessions to choose from, there will be a "Guide Me" option, such as "getting Started" or "Beginner" which will help guide the attendee through the classes that will be most helpful to them. Sessions will be available in 11 languages. The conference is hosted by www.FamilySearch.org FamilySearch International is the largest genealogy organization in the world. It is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
