On-Site Fleet Services of NM LLC is looking for an experienced Shop/Mobile mechanic to service a variety of cars foreign and domestic to RV’S tractor trailers and much more! If it rolls down the highway we work on it! The ideal candidate Must: Be Honest/Reliable! Must have your own tools! -Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean background/driving record. -Degree or diploma in automotive repair is preferred but NOT required. -ASE certification is preferred but not required to start. -Proficiency with Diagnosis, maintenance and repair. -Must have a flexible schedule to accommodate night shifts, weekend shifts, and emergencies. We are a 24/7 emergency service. -Must be physically fit and able to lift equipment parts over 100lbs -Have excellent verbal communication skills. (I cannot stress this enough!) -Must be able to work independently, and as part of a team with attention to detail. -We provide mobile service as well so you Must be willing to work outside! Service truck is provided. Duties are primarily related to diesel, gasoline and powered vehicles, including but not limited to: -Running diagnostic tests on vehicles/equipment. -Analyzing diagnostic test results. -Running forced regens -Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmission and braking systems. -Test driving vehicles to gauge performance. -Performing preventative maintenance on all company owned vehicles and equipment. -Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles. -Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist. -Maintaining parts inventory.
