We're a rock cover-band that Anchorage Alehouse billed as "Playing Everything You Forgot You Loved!" We endeavor to play recognizable tunes that get peoples' feet tapping, but aren't done by other bands. Of course, there's some overlap; however, that's our focus. We need an experienced player who knows most of our songs or is a quick study. The successful candidate will have a strong musical foundation. We rehearse 1-2 times a week, more when we're prepping to perform. Band members are expected to practice and learn their parts at home, and come to rehearsal prepared to polish the arrangements. Our current lineup consists of rhythm guitar, bass, and drums. We have both male and female front people. The band is making a change there, too. We are in our 50's & 60's, established in life, and not dependent on music for our livelihoods. We would consider a young player with talent enough to make up for a lack of experience. Keep in mind, we are only interested in gigging a couple times a month at the most. Also, we do not allow drugs or alcohol at rehearsals or performances. Contact us for an audition.
