Car trade for down payment. Don't know what's wrong with it

I have a BMW 750 li 2008 Recently the car has had to be jumped to start. Last night we noticed it was low on oil. After putting a quart in it, saw it drained straight thru and completely leaked out after driving it less than a mile and shut off. I'm not sure if the engine is locked. I can't afford to fix it. Looking to trade it in. I can afford about a $350 car payment. But my credit isn't good due to school loans that went to collections. Other than that I have nothing that I owe in debt. So although credit shows poor, I don't have any debt. Any mechanics/car sales/ or tow yard s out there willing to work with me on getting into a different vehicle?
