Commercial Carpentry company seeking a Shop Worker. We are a family operated construction company that has projects throughout Long Island & NYC. Our headquarters in Long Island is looking for Part-Time help within our outside operations, tools, equipment, and logistics department. This role requires someone with: • Ability to work, tag, test, & (potentially) fix hand/power tools • Ability to lift, move light/heavy tools, material & construction equipment • Assist loading & unloading construction material/equipment from delivery trucks • Ability to climb ladders & reorganize shelves • Ability to keep a clean, organized and hazard-free workspace • Ability to take direction & initiative • Clean license who can drive a smaller flatbed truck for local, small-sized deliveries/pickups • Scissor Lift experience a plus • Forklift experience a plus • Construction knowledge a plus • Experience loading/packing trucks a plus • Must have Gov’t ID/Paperwork (no Tax ID) This is a Part-Time, very Flexible hours type of role (NOT 40hrs per week).
