Errand Specialist San Francisco residential property management company is seeking the consummate "go-getter" - a mature, self-motivated, goal-oriented individual that possesses a positive attitude, is detail oriented and deadline driven, highly organized, enjoys working independently and within a team, has the ability to maintain a high-level of confidentiality, and possesses common sense to become a member of our team. Additionally, this candidate will need to enjoy working outdoors, possess a valid California driver’s license with a stellar driving record, access to a reliable vehicle for work purposes with automobile insurance and be willing to add the company as an additional insured (for work purposes) and have a driving/working knowledge of San Francisco. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform the position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required for this specific position. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills • Ability to communicate with all levels of employees/clients and understand cultural differences • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with interactive teams • Ability to manage time effectively to ensure the timely completion of assigned projects and request assistance when needed • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and helpful attitude • Ability to perform general administrative assistant functions of the office • Ability to Type 50-60 wpm • Proficiency and/or the ability to learn quickly the appropriate functionality of computer programs/software used in the operations of the business such as AppFolio, TouchStone, Skype, Zoom, Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite of products (with an emphasis on Word, Excel, and Outlook), QuickBooks, Dropbox, RingCentral • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all client information at all times and exercises sound judgment and discretion in the collection and dissemination of said information; insures that highly sensitive, proprietary and confidential information is released only to those authorized.   Essential Duties and specific position responsibilities: • Ability to always maintain confidentiality of all rental and resident information and exercise sound judgment and discretion in the collection and dissemination of said information; insure any highly sensitive, proprietary, and confidential information is released only to those authorized • Ability to post/serve Notices to Resident(s) such as "Notice of Intent to Enter" or “Utility Shut Off” Notices, etc. and letters to Owners/Residents/Vendors • Ability to disseminate correct keys for properties for Owners/Residents/Vendors, make appropriate copies when needed, label keys appropriately, deliver keys when needed, maintain "Key Log" tracking of all keys • Ability to drive and perform miscellaneous errands AND to drive to managed buildings to meet with Owners/Residents/Vendors/Governmental Agencies, for notice posting, inspections, appliance delivery, or to pick-up coins, program/label telephone entry systems, take photographs with a smartphone (provided) • Ability to assist/perform each type of unit/building evaluations by documenting the condition of managed properties • Ability to assist with banking by collecting laundry coins and making bank deposits Requirements: • College degree preferred, but will consider candidates with a high school diploma or the equivalent plus a minimum of one (1) year of practical previous work experience • Must present a professional appearance and demeanor • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Physical Requirements of Position include but are not limited to the following: • Able to drive an automobile • Able to communicate on the telephone • Able to sit and/or stand for extended periods • Able to perform daily repetitive hand motions • Able to run errands walking for short to medium distances • Able to lift 25 to 35 lbs. • Able to walk up and down up to three flights of stairs • Able to frequently bend, stand, stoop, squat, reach, twist This is a cologne-free, perfume-free, non-smoking work environment with an Equal Opportunity Employer Part-Time Monday through Friday 20 hours per week Hours Flexible, with a preference to 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., or 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
