Installation Helper needed! (Sacramento) A leader in iron fences and automatic gates is seeking an Installation Helper. Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year of related experience and/or training in the construction environment; Experience in the general welding, carpentry, and construction industry is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Special consideration for welding skills. Must possess ability to use hand tools, and other power tools of the trade. Must possess general knowledge of the construction industry. Must possess excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Must possess excellent problem solving and time management skills in order to meet deadlines and productivity standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for inventory of tools, materials, and supplies, ensuring they are in proper working order; notify supervisor if any items need to be replaced, or if stock needs to be replenished. Prepare and pack tools, materials, and supplies for Installer to take on the job site. Assist with the job layout and site preparation, as directed by installers. Perform job site cleanup including collection of all tools, equipment, and materials. Ensure that all tools and equipment are accounted for, and returned daily to their proper place in a clean and secure manner. Assist with keeping company trucks organized, clean, and well maintained at all times. All other duties as assigned by supervisors.
