Starting pay rate: $15.00-15.50 per hour Shifts: 1st Shift - 7AM – 3PM 2nd Shift - 3PM to 10:30PM Days off will vary, but requires working Friday, Saturday, & Sunday Job Description: This Packer role is a key position within our clients manufacturing plants and supports their production team leads as they drive production to the highest safety, quality and efficiency standards. This position could consist of production line opportunities, labeling, packing, and other general warehousing tasks as instructed. Use iPad to pick product from appropriate shelves and/or bins and place into the appropriate box in an efficient and timely manner Appropriately package food to prevent breakage and movement during shipping Inspect boxes and other types of packaging for damage or dirt Ensure the integrity of the boxes before they are passed down the line Seal containers or boxes in a way that prevents unpacking during shipping Stack and arrange boxes on a pallet in a way that allows the shippers to load the quickly onto the trucks Perform related duties as assigned by team lead or supervisor Job Requirements: 18 years or older Ability to work quickly and efficiently and to follow instructions Ability to speak and read English Physical Requirements Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Must be able to stand for extended periods of time Ability to reach overhead, bend, squat, stoop Must be able to work in a refrigerated environment (34 degrees) For your safety, full COVID-19 procedures in effect daily.
