You will: • Apply pesticides, fertilizer, and other healthcare products to trees and shrubs. • Monitor, evaluate, and treat woody plant biotic and abiotic diseases and disorders. • Identify common landscape trees and shrubs. • Inspect tools, machinery, and vehicle routinely. • Accurately mix, store, and transport pesticides. • Operate spray and injection equipment safely and effectively. • Perform other plant healthcare procedures, such as soil amendments, airspade excavation, and girdling root remediation. • Drive company vehicle with small trailer to application sites. • Learn and adhere to industry and company standards. • Work closely with our Plant Healthcare Manager to ensure effective and efficient treatments and work flow. • Communicate with clients regarding their applications. • Seasonally work in hot and cold and inclement weather conditions. • Work some over-time due to the seasonal nature of the job. • Work as a member of our tree crew in the off-season.
