Lyrics are a funny thing. By themselves they usually read pretty bad. But combine them with a melody and you might have a hit song. Do you think you can create a tune starting with my lyrics (I have dozens)? Or, do you have tunes that I can enhance with some killer words? Are you a solo artist, or a band, that needs new material? I can craft the lyrics for new tunes or perk up your songs that aren’t quite making it. I consider my lyrics (without a melody) to be a rough draft. I’m not a perfectionist so I don’t mind making changes to get a better blend or narrative. I am flexible and don’t mind changing my words to better fit your tunes. I prefer good ole Rock ‘n’ Roll but I have written for other genres including Country Western, Pop, Heavy Metal, and even Goth. I am a serious lyricist whose words and rhymes are sophisticated, creative, original, and inventive. See a sample below. I’d like to hear what you have done. Me: a retired aging hippie, originally from New York, who now lives in the NW Las Vegas Valley.
