Schedule: 6am start time (4 days / 10 hour shifts) - will include weekend shifts Pay: $45k-55k The Role: The Quality Control inspector is responsible for inspecting all inbound and outbound products to ensure that company quality and dating standards are met. Quality Control will work closely with the Receiving department to identify any quality issues with incoming product and take the appropriate action. Quality Control will also work closely with the Purchasing department to resolve any quality issues. Position reports directly to the Quality Control Supervisor. Essential Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To: Identify quality issues with produce, basic math and counting skills Lift up to 50 lbs repetitively and work in a refrigerated warehouse Work with cross-functional team members and departments Core Knowledge/Skills: Excellent attention to detail and communication skills Intermediate computer skills (MS Office, Bosanova) Required Experience: Must have a minimum of 2-3 years produce experience Must be able to identify produce quality issues, count and have basic math skills Must be able to use Microsoft Outlook and XL Must be familiar or be able to learn our warehouse management system that includes RF Scanning and inventory management Ability to work independently, and be self motivated to complete daily tasks with minimal supervision and multi-task Must have excellent attention to detail Excellent communication and problem-solving skills required, including in-house inspections and the ability to measure defects and advise produce disposition Intermediate rider pallet jack and stand up forklift experience will be required Must be able to work overtime when business requires Charlie's Produce Total Compensation Package Includes Competitive starting pay 90 day performance-based raise Yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure We recognize and reward hard work and commitment.
