Full Time Position Available: Order Fulfillment, splicing, order preparation, packaging, logistics, and shipping. You will work as a key member of our friendly, professional, family-like, and highly motivated team. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM with occasional overtime. We are a growing on-line cottage company with a 7-year history of providing backpacking and lightweight gear to enthusiasts all over the world. We also sew custom hammocks and accessories for every season and have been featured in local articles and magazines alike. Your responsibilities include: * Overall (we will provide on-the-job training for an exceptionally promising candidate) responsibility for order fulfillment, logistics, and shipping in a small business environment. * Learning all key aspects of our small business. * Performing periodic inventory counts and updating counts to our on-line data base. * Preparing and Packaging Orders for shipment (includes splicing, training provided) * Determining Best Shipping Methods, Printing Shipping Labels, and Staging Orders for Carrier Pickup * Assisting our shipping supervisor in other business areas. Requirements: Ideally you have at least one year of experience in order fulfillment, shipping, or logistics. However, we will train a candidate. Excellent communication skills both spoken and written, a positive attitude, ability to work alone or as a team member, computer skills, ability to lift no more than 40 pounds, physical stamina, self-motivated, attention to detail with the ability to see the larger business picture, and a desire for future growth within our organization.
