Description

This is Tip of the Spear Training Academy's introductory course it is intended for individuals regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA affiliation. Some topics included are gun safety, operation of pump, auto-matic, and hinged, selection and storage, shooting fundamentals, maintenance, and range safety. You will receive the NRA Basics of Shotgun Shooting handbook and for a limited time, a free customized cleaning mat. You will complete the Basics of Shotgun Shooting Student Examination and have live-fire range time with our NRA Certified Firearms Instructor team. Upon course completion, you receive your Basics of Shotgun Shooting certificate. Students may bring their own firearm, if you do not own one, we will have one available free of charge. NOTE: NO LIVE AMMO IS ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM. Range fee is not included, and ammo may be purchased at the range. We suggest you bring lunch as there is a substantial amount of classroom content to go over.
