Warehouse – Shipping Coordinator Volt is immediately hiring a Warehouse Shipping Coordinator for a local leading organization in WASCO, CA. The shipping coordinator will help with a variety of office related tasks including preparing documentation for production as well as coordinating shipping between ports and trucking lines. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk you will:Prepare receiving or shipping reports and note any shortages or damagesEvaluate inventory levels and notifies purchasing agent when reorders are necessary Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materialsRecord shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes Shipping Coordinator candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:International and Domestic Shipping ExperienceExperience Dealing with Freight Forwarders and CarriersCandidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirements Pay for this position is $17.50 to $19 /hr depending on experience.
