STEMMONS FWY SUITE 240 B DALLAS TEXAS, 75247 (469)778-5907 Effective Building Sanitation is seeking responsible and service driven Maintenance Attendant to join our team. The successful attendant should be able to occasionally work in a team when cleaning and doing light maintenance on a larger building. A top-performing Attendant should be able to complete all tasks to the client’s satisfaction within a given time. Ideal candidates MUST have own reliable transportation Job Responsibilities Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door or wall repair Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs Maintaining the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems, such as using a sealant on a flat roof Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries Painting the building when old paint has become faded or chipped • Dusting and cleaning ceiling vents, surface areas, and counter surfaces • Performs general sweeping, scrubbing, mopping of hardwood, laminate, or tiled floors • Using vacuuming equipment; vacuums and cleans carpets, perform further treatments such as shampoo or stain-removal as needed • Disposing of trash from bins and containers • Polishing furniture and room accessories as needed • Scrubbing sinks, basins, and toilets in private and public bathrooms • Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors • Maintaining and upkeep of all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products • Keeping all public spaces neat and tidy • Reporting repairs and replacements needed when encountered on the job Cleaner requirement and Qualifications • Ability to follow verbal directions • Ability to work well alone and with a partner or team • Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties • Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines; excellent time management skills • Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during the daily routine, with ability to stand for long lengths of time; physically able to push vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time; ability to lift up to 25 to 30 pounds • General knowledge of cleaning products, supplies, and techniques for cleaning • Able to work nights, weekends, and occasional holidays Job Type: Part-time and Full-time Pay: $10- $15 Per Hour Experience: NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED-WILL TRAIN Se habla espanol.
